Position Summary

Motlow State Community College is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach as a Clinical Nursing Instructor. Adjunct Faculty are part-time temporary Instructors who may teach no more than 9 credit hours per semester and are hired on a per semester basis.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Adjunct Faculty, who work as clinical instructors, must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The primary function of adjunct faculty is to provide quality instruction in the health care setting for nursing students.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution with a minimum of three years of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics
Pay Rate $450-650 per equated hour depending on years of experience in the workplace.
