Position Title Temporary Help - Child Care Aide 1
Department STCC-Child Care Centers (FA)
Position Summary

This is a part-time, temporary position under the direct supervision of Director, Assistant Director, Lead Teacher and Child Care Specialist of Campus Child Care. The Child Care Aide 1 is responsible for assisting the Director by providing for the physical, safety and emotional well-being of children at the Southwest on-campus day care facility.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

One (1) year of child care experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Ability to work independently, take verbal or written instructions and follow directions.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, campus community, and public.

A willingness to work with children of all ages.

Pay Rate $10.50/hr
